Owl Walk at Nixon Park

Get to know Nixon County Park’s winged nocturnal predators a bit better during the indoor-outdoor Owl Walk program from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the park, 5922 Nixon Drive, Springfield Township.

Attendees will meet several species of Pennsylvania owls during the indoor program. Cameras are welcome.

The second part of the program will feature a hike through the woods as participants call for owls. Participants are encouraged to dress in layers and bring a red-tinted flashlight along.

Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
