First Friday: Happy Healthy Hearts

Downtown Inc’s second entry in the 2012 First Friday series is a festival for Happy Healthy Hearts on North Beaver Street from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, in downtown York City.

Various merchants will be offering free samples of chocolates, candy, tea and other items as well as special First Friday deals.

Homegrown students will provide free music courtesy of Bair’s Fried Chicken, 47 N. Beaver St.

The Studio at the Strand-Capitol Performing Arts Center, 50 N. George St., will continue its Jazz in the City series with Ron Waters (trumpet), Jim Wood (piano), Mike Boone (bass) and Jeff Stabley (drums) from 5 to 7 p.m. The cover is $3 for adults and free for students with ID.

Meter parking is free during First Friday events.
