Weapons of the Spirit at York College
York College will host filmmaker Pierre Sauvage for a screening, question-and-answer session and lecture Thursday, Feb. 16.
The school will offer a free screening of Weapons of the Spirit, a documentary about a French village that saved thousands of Jews from the Holocaust, at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. The film is unrated and runs 90 minutes. Sauvage will answer questions after the screening. The movie will be shown in Room 218 in the Humanities Center on campus, 441 Country Club Road, Spring Garden Township.
Sauvage will speak about “Learning Hope from the Holocaust” at 7 p.m. in the DeMeester Recital Hall in Evelyn and Earle Wolf Hall on campus. The lecture is also free and open to the public.
