Bus trip to Chosen Food exhibit in Baltimore
The York Jewish Community Center is offering a bus trip to the Jewish Museum of Maryland in Baltimore in March.
The trip, led by Rabbi Joan Lenowitz of the Ohev Sholom Congregation, is open to members of all faiths with an interest in Jewish cuisine. Participants will explore the exhibit Chosen Food: Cuisine, Culture and American Jewish Identity at the museum.
The bus will leave at 10 a.m. and return at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at the York JCC, 2000 Hollywood Drive, York Township.
The cost is $35 per person, which includes the bus trip and a docent-led tour of the exhibit. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the rest of the museum and get lunch at nearby kosher-style delis on their own.
